How to Resolve Incorrect Dyna-Cab File Version

If your Axe-Fx III is displaying the error message, "Incorrect Dyna-Cab File Version!!!", this indicates that the DynaCab™ version installed on your unit is not up to date with its firmware.
This document provides a step-by-step guide on how to download and install the latest DynaCab™ file to resolve this issue.

1. Update Fractal-Bot: First, ensure that you have Fractal-Bot version 3.0.16 or newer. You can download it from our official website here.

2. Download and Extract the DynaCab File: Download the latest firmware from https://www.fractalaudio.com/axe-fx-iii-downloads/ and locate the "dyna_cabs_(version).syx" files within the zip archive. Extract the file to a location of your choice.

3. Launch Fractal-Bot and Send the File: Follow the built-in instructions to send the data to your device. (Tip: You can drag and drop the downloaded DynaCab file into the field on step 2 of the Send page in Fractal-Bot.)

4. Reboot to Complete: Upon completion, you will be instructed to reboot your device. Make sure to follow this instruction for the changes to take effect.
